  1. If the current version of BIOS doesn't find passwords for your PC
  2. (all vendors) and you want to help me to implement support for it,
  3. please do the following:

  5. 1.
  6. Execute the BIOS utility with the "d" option.
  7. You'll get a file called c:\bios.dmp.
  8.  
  9. 2.
  10. There are eight possible states:
  11. 1. no passwords, security option: setup
  12. 2. no passwords, security option: system
  13. 3. only superviser password, security option: setup
  14. 4. only superviser password, security option: system
  15. 5. only user password, security option: setup
  16. 6. only user password, security option: system
  17. 7. both passwords, security option: setup
  18. 8. both passwords, security option: system
  19. Please produce each of these states once and save it using BIOS
  20. with the "s" option as 1.sav, 2.sav...

  23. Then write a short text file containing:
  24. - BIOS vendor   
  25. - BIOS version  
  26. - BIOS date     
  27. - The used passwords
  28.  
  29. 4.
  30. Put all the files in a ZIP archive.

  33. Send the ZIP archive as an email attachment to:
